Bourbon State Gaming Behavior Rules:
– Every participant starts off the tournament with a clean slate.
– Refrain from excessive profanity.
– No stalling. If you are unsure of what it is, ask one of the organizers.
– Please exhibit good sportsmanship like behavior for anything involving the event. This means before, during, and after.
– Contain your composure and show proper sportsmanship while at the event or anything surrounding the event (online, leading up, etc..). No controller slamming, screaming or shouting at other players, causing a disturbance or anything in that aspect. Interpretation of any un-sportsman like conduct will be at the discretion of the Tournament Director.
– No food or open containers (cups with lids on them constitute as open containers) near set ups or on Tournament Stations.
– Drugs and outside alcohol are not allowed on premise.
– Disrupting someone mid-match intentionally or accidentally is not acceptable. Please do your best to make sure you are not disrupting a match. If flagrant, we will penalize or disqualify.
– Bourbon State Gaming is not responsible for any lost, damaged, or stolen items. (Controllers, TV’s, Systems, or personal belongings)
– Be respectful of others belongings and set ups. Purposeful damaging of others property will result in ejection from the Event and possible banning at future events.
– You must register for the event on-time and cannot transfer your registration once registration is closed. Once the registration deadline is closed, no further entries will be permitted. You must pay the event and venue fee by the deadline, as well.
– Collusion of any kind (asking, intentionally throwing matches yourself, “agreeing to split winnings”, etc.) is subject to instant disqualification from all events, forfeiture of all prizes, and a potential event suspension at the T.O’s discretion.
– There will no ties in any tournament. Anyone refusing to play any Match (including the Finals) will be disqualified and forfeit all rights to any titles or prizes they might have otherwise earned for that tournament.
– Do not touch any of the computers or streaming equipment owned by the Bourbon State Gaming staff.
– Please be respectful to all Bourbon State Gaming staff at all times.
– No Sexually explicit acts, explicit nudity, solicitations or non-consensual sexualization. Any of the following in or around the event hall will result in expulsion from the event and after a review may result in a permanent ban.
– Bourbon State Gaming has zero tolerance policy toward violence, threats of violence, intimidation, harassment (sexual or otherwise), or other forms of physical aggression. Any threat of violence, harassment, extreme intimidation, or violence of any kind will result in ejection from the event and potential permanent ban.
– Depending on Venue any additional venue rules may apply..
Failure to comply to these may result in ejection from result without a refund. IF YOU suspect a rule is being broken contact a member of the Bourbon State Gaming Staff IMMEDIATELY!
These rules are an attempt to ensure that the tournament runs fairly and as smoothly as possible. However, unforeseen circumstances may require a special response, and for that reason the Tournament Director reserves the right to change any of the tournament rules or remove any player at any time, for any reason, at their discretion.
Based on severity or amount of occurrences during an event that player violates the rules listed above they may receive a warning or an outright ejection from the event.
